Most Anticipated Releases for 2021

Hello everyone!! ❄️ I hope you’re all having a wonderful day and week. Most of you have already shared your end of the year posts and, let me tell you, they have definitely been a treat to read ☺️ I tried to save them to the very last minute because I’m still reading many books, and I wanted my lists to take into consideration every single one I read in 2020. Long story short, I’m still working on them 😅 Because of that, today I will be sharing with you my most anticipated releases for 2021 🤩!! I’m probably missing many books that I’m excited for, but I think I did a pretty good job rounding up most of them. Though, I did limit this list to continuations of series I’ve read or books from authors that I know I love. Also, I just realized that April will be a HUGE month for me and books. Almost every single book that I can’t wait to read comes out in April 😆! Anyways, I really hope you guys enjoy this!!

Honorable Mention:

The Black Volume of the Dead

[Add to Goodreads]

For those of you that don’t know, this will be the third and final book of The Eldest Curses series, which is part of the Shadowhunter Chronicles. I’m excited for this… But I’m not 😬 I love Malec, and that is literally the only reason I’m even reading this series. It’s not bad, but it’s kind of a filler for the main books. There is also no release date yet, so it still doesn’t feel that real either.

#10. The Soulmate Equation

Release Date: May 18th 2021

[Add to Goodreads]

Christina Lauren is usually hit or miss for me, particularly because I haven’t enjoyed their recent releases as much as I hoped. Though I did like them enough that I keep reading the new ones. This one in particular sounds wonderful and right up my alley ☺️ I’m very excited about it and I can wait to see if I’ll like it.

#9. Better Together

Release Date: June 1st 2021

[Add to Goodreads]

Christines Riccio is one of my favorite book tubers, and I really liked her debut novel Again, but Better. There was still a lot of room for growth, but I just love Christine’s imagination and humor 😄 I can’t wait to read this next one. She’s pitching it as a Freaky Friday meets The Parent Trap (aka my favorite movie ever 😆), and its a drama/comedy type of story. It sounds like a mess, but I have faith that it will be very entertaining!

#8. The Heart Principle

Release Date: August 17th 2021

[Add to Goodreads]

I am sooo excited about this, but I’m also trying not to get my hopes up 😅 The release date for this book has been moved like four times already and I still don’t believe that it will come out on August 😒 They’ve broken my trust one too many times. I really hope we do get to read it this year cause Helen Hoang did wonders with the first two books. I think this one can become my favorite of the three.

#7. Second First Impressions

Release Date: April 13th 2021

[Add to Goodreads]

The synopsis for this book doesn’t appeal to me that much, but I really like Sally Thorne’s work. I thought that The Hating Game and 99 Percent Mine were amazing 😍 I loved both of them, so although it doesn’t sound very interesting I’m hopeful.

#6. People We Meet on Vacation

Release Date: May 11th 2021

[Add to Goodreads]

After loving Beach Read as much as I did, I really want to read more of Emily Henry’s work. This one has a similar vibe to the latter, so that just makes it sound even better 😁! Best-friends-to-lovers isn’t my favorite trope either, but we’ll see 😉

#5. Much Ado About You

Release Date: February 2nd 2021

[Add to Goodreads]

I’ll be honest, I didn’t even read the synopsis for this 😬 It is evident that Samantha Young is earning a spot on my insta-buy authors list! Even I’m a little surprised 👀 But I loved On Dublin Street so much, and also Fight or Flight, that I’m going to read this. I don’t really care what it’s about. I saw books and a dog in the cover. That’s enough ☺️

#4. Act Your Age, Eve Brown

Release Date: March 9th 2021

[Add to Goodreads]

I mean, who isn’t excited for this? I think most of us loved Get a Life, Chloe Brown and Take a Hint, Dani Brown. I can’t wait for Eve’s story now, and I think the dynamic between the main characters will be very interesting (the contrast between her messiness and his order). I have really high expectations for this one ☺️

OH MY GOD. TOP THREE!!! (in no particular order)

Life’s Too Short

Release Date: April 6th 2021

[Add to Goodreads]

If you still haven’t read The Friend Zone and The Happy Ever After Playlist… what are you doing 🤨??? Go read them, now!! (if you like romance obviously, otherwise you’re not going to like it). I know for a fact that I’m going to love this. I just know it. I have NO doubts about it. ZERO doubts. Abby Jimenez has won me over and this sounds beautiful and exactly like my kind of story. I can’t WAIT 😆😆!!! April is too far away 😫

Chain of Iron

Release Date: March 2nd 2021

[Add to Goodreads]

Anyone who is a Shadowhunter fan is probably excited for Chain of Iron. Though, one of the main reason I’m looking foward to it is because I really want Grace to suffer or something 🙄 I know that probably won’t happen till the last book, but I’m hopeful. I just can’t stand her. I also really want James to stop being so dense, and I want to know more about everyone–Cordelia, Alastair, Thomas, Lucy, Anna… All of these characters are way too wonderful 😍

The Crown of Gilded Bones

Release Date: April 20th 2021

[Add to Goodreads]

Isn’t this obvious 😅? I mean, you probably all knew this would be on my top three. I am OBSESSED with the Blood and Ash series, and I know I’m going to love this too. There is no alternative 🤷🏽‍♀️ Again, April is too far away.

What are some of your most anticipated releases? Are any of them in this list?
