Ashmita’s Questions

#1. What color is your soul?

Noooo. I did an online quiz and got BLACK!! WHAT?!?!?! I wanted to get yellow or something more… happy 🤷🏽‍♀️? I suppose black makes me more mysterious at least, and it does go with everything… 🤔 In case you’re interested, I took this BuzzFeed quiz and this is the answer they gave me:

“You have a very deep and dark soul, but people can count on you to hold it all together.”

#2. Think about your happiest memory. Then tell me the book/song that you are reminded of?

Some of my happiest memories revolve around Disney 😁 I grew up watching all the movies and shows, and everything I loved the most was somehow related to all that, including some of my best times with my family and friends. Even now that I’m older (and certainly not a kid anymore 😬), it continues to be a huge part of my life.

Due to all this, I picked two songs. First, Send It On because several of the most important artists of my childhood are all in there 😅, and then the song You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home from Hannah Montana because the show turned 15 YEARS OLD a few days ago. If you guys didn’t feel old yet… You’re welcome 😉

#3. Finish the sentence: once upon a time, there lived a turtle in…

the middle of the sea, and he couldn’t see his friends because they were all in quarantine.

Can you guys tell that this year is catching up to me 👀??

#4. Do you have an aesthetic? What is your favourite aesthetic?

I’ll be honest, I had to look this up because I wasn’t sure what the different types of aesthetics are 😅😆 From the ones I found I really like Light Academia, Minimalist, and Space Core. This was the post of reference, in case you guys want to check it out!

Tell me a something about this world that you admire.

I really admire people that help others and donate their time and money selflessly. For some, this might seem as a regular part of life (which, if it does, props to you ☺️), but I’ve witnessed so many people in need of desperate help without any means to get it, and it always warms my heart when there’s someone willing to help them.

What is your favourite form of creativity?

Obviously, I love anything to do with writing and books, so I don’t think I have to elaborate on that.

I also LOVE music. Since I was a kid, I have loved singing all my favorite songs and jamming out with my friends and family. Also, when I was about eight, I started piano and music theory lessons (which I graduated from in December 😁). Music is so powerful and able to connect people from all over the world, despite their background and tastes. It is honestly a beautiful way of connecting with the people around you.

But I also love film and TV! Create such powerful stories and be able to immerse the audience so fully is an impressive talent! The way that the camera moves, and the choices directors make on what they actually show are so important to the story and meaning behind it 🤯 And on that note, I love acting as well!!! It’s inspiring how actors and actresses prepare and get to know their characters as if they were discovering themselves…

Long story short, I love art. I don’t think I can choose 🤷🏽‍♀️

Share something you created.

When I was much younger I used to take painting classes and they were so fun 😍!! I like to think I was good at them, but not the best. I’ll share with you guys this painting, which is the very first one I completed!! I remember I spent about a month or a month and a half with it, and I am still so proud of myself 🤩 It’s one of my favorites out of all the ones I painted (those of you that are artistic prodigies, please don’t shame me 🙈).

Obviously you guys don’t have to do this if you don’t want to ☺️

My Questions:

  1. What color is your soul? (you can take the quiz I linked if you want!)
  2. What Disney or Pixar animated movie do you think is the most artistic?
  3. Have you ever tried your hand at acting, painting/drawing, dancing, etc.?
  4. If you had to give up reading or listening to music (including playing an instrument), which one would you choose?

I hope you guys had fun with this post!! Please let me know what is your favorite form of creativity!!
