Blogmas #12 || The ABC Book Challenge | Letter F
Hello everyone!! βοΈ It’s finally the weekend! This was such a long and eventful week. I have officially finished this semester of uni and it was… Well special, as everything has been this year π€·π½ββοΈ I loved my classes but I was ready for a break π Still, I’m super happy cause I had very good grades, and I already registered for my spring classes and I can’t wait for some of them. What are you guys up to?
Some other exciting things that have happened… Layla came out!! I’m already scared cause I don’t know how creepy it will be, but I can’t wait to read more of Colleen Hoover’s beautiful writing π AND PEOPLE!! Taylor Swift released a new album!!! I can’t cope. I’m so excited and I’m loving it π I think I might like it more than folklore… But don’t take that to heart, I’ve only listened to it once, so I still need to get familiarized with it and try to understand the connections. Then I’ll gauge whether I loved them equally or not. So far, some of my favorites are willow, tolerate it, and no body no crime π€© Every single song is wonderful though. And for those of you that are fans, please tell me that you noticed the music for cowboy like me is the same from hoax!! No one can tell me it isn’t because IT IS!! It’s the same π€―! If you don’t believe listen to the piano and the melody in each π
Anyways, today on the ABC Book Challenge I will be sharing with you some titles that start with the letter F! F for feet π£, fairy π§π», fox π¦, fish π, flower πΊ, and fire π₯
BUT, before we begin, let’s do our Advent Calendar!
The objective of this Advent Calendar is to get to know each other better and learn about some of the things we love to do this time of year! I really hope that you guys decide to participate, and I canβt wait to read your answers as well. If you want to check out the upcoming questions go to this page.
What is the ugliest Christmas ornament you have ever seen?
I’m choosing this because that emoji is my least favorite of all.
Memorable Titles that Start With an F
Fight or Flight by Samantha Young
This was a great romance novel. It’s a kind of an enemies-to-lovers and friends-with-benefits weird situation. The teasing and the fighting between the main characters is hilarious and I had a great time reading about them. Also, this is extremely steamy, so if that’s not your kind of thing you probably won’t enjoy this. Regardless, I definitely recommend it π!
Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey
Another great novel! Even though this isn’t my favorite in this standalone collection, it is pretty great. Georgie and Travis are both adorable and I had a blast getting to know them too βΊοΈ This story is centered around the my-brother’s-best-friend trope. Even though this is a very common narrative that we are a little tired reading about, I think the author did a pretty good job. Very steamy as well and kind of angsty, so keep those things in mind if you’re interested in reading it. But otherwise, it’s super fun.
The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West
This was the first book I ever read by Kasie West and I loved it! I thought the story was very interesting and so sweet. All of the characters are wonderful, and I was engaged throughout the entire story. Everything that happened felt real, and it’s one of the few high-school centered books that I think actually feel like school. It’s not my favorite book by Kasie West, but it’s up there on the list π
Fall With Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout
THIS. BOOK. IS. AMAZING!!!! I love it! You all know I love this author, so just know now that I think this is one of her best books π This is primarily a romance, but with crime and a little suspense. A little heads up, this creeped me out a lot π³ I got goosebumps, I was scared, I was intrigued… Truly an experience. If you like former-lovers-reunited type of stories you will really enjoy this book.
Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes
This is the first book of the Falling Kingdoms series and, even though it’s not the best book ever, this series is brilliant. I binged it earlier this year and fell in love with the story and the characters π₯° I thought it was very original and also much more gory than I expected. Again, this installment is a good introduction, but kind of predictable in terms of the most important plot lines (cause it did have many small plot twists that left my jaw on the floor). If you enjoy reading about magic, betrayal, a little bit of politics, and lots of battle scenes, this is the perfect book for you. It honestly felt like watching a movie βΊοΈ

FABLE by Adrienne Young is the first one I could think of!! I absolutely ADORE those characters, so would definitely recommend! Also, Falling kingdoms sounds really good, might check it out!!
Definitely look into it, it was amazing π€©!! And I will definitely check out Fable!
Falling Kingdoms sounds so interesting — you had me at politics and betrayal π Great post Pilar!!
Definitely read it!! It’s wonderful π€© Thank you Abby, I’m glad you liked it!!
Fable by Adrienne Young, Forest of Souls by Lori M. Lee, and Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett. Fallen Kingdoms was one that I liked and disliked at the same time LOL. I enjoyed it for the angst and the political intrigue but some of the characters especially Lucia just got on my last nerve -.-
I CAN’T STAND LUCIA!!! I ranted on and on about her on my series review π I didn’t buy that mini redemption arc that she got, she’s incredibly annoying π
YES!! And then put her with Jonas?? WTH. I was hoping she’d give her life for her daughter but NOOOO
EXACTLY!!! Jonas was such a great character, I will never understand how they ended up together π€¦π½ββοΈ
Nope- can’t think of one
