Blogmas #25 | Merry Christmas!! (blogmas overview, my experience, would I do it again?)

Merry Christmas everyone πŸŽ…πŸΌπŸŽ„βœ¨!! The day has finally arrived and I think it has taken us all by surprise πŸ˜… I know that no one is having a ‘normal’ Christmas and most of us won’t be able to even see our families. But still, I hope that you guys have a great day and that you find joy even in the smallest things ☺️ Remember to cherish everyone around you and to show the people close to you how much you care for them. Also, if it’s possible for you, remember to help others in any way that you can ❀️

Today is the last day of Blogmas 2020! Before I begin with the overview, I want to thank all of you guys πŸ₯° Whether you’ve followed me for some time now or if you’re new here, I appreciate you SO much and I’m incredibly grateful 😊 I really hope that you have all enjoyed this month as much as I have, and I can’t wait to continue reading all of your amazing posts. Again, thank you thank you thank you thank youuuu πŸ’•

❄️ Why did I decide to do it? ❄️

I’m still fairly new to this community, and even though I knew what Blogmas was, I didn’t know how it was usually done. Still, I decided to participate because I thought it would be fun. It was a challenge I was willing to take, hoping to become better acquainted with all of you, and with myself ☺️

πŸŽ„ My Experience. πŸŽ„

Overall, I’m very VERY glad that I did Blogmas this year. Don’t get wrong, it was extremely difficult. I ran out of ideas, some posts were late, and I felt like I spent most of my days writing and preparing content (despite the fact that I had many things ready beforehand). But, I can say that I loved every second of it.

One of the things I’m the most glad about is that I met so many new people and blogs! I am extremely introverted. I even have a hard time responding and commenting on all of your posts (even if it doesn’t seem like it). Believe me, I always struggle with what to say, how to say it, whether or not to say it… I second guess myself a lot. If I had stuck to my little bubble, I would have never interacted with any of you guys. But, I obviously did not want that. When I decided to start this blog I told myself that I would be open and that I would make my best effort to be a good member of the community. I’m very glad that I stepped out of my comfort zone, and I never thought I would feel so comfortable doing this as I do now.

On another note, I think I finally know the direction in which I want to take this blog. When I started out a few months ago, I did not know the first thing about blogging. I didn’t know how to write on one, create graphics, come up with original content… NOTHING. It has definitely been a learning process and I know I will continue to learn for as long as I do this. This experience in particular has helped me learn more about myself, and what I like to read and write about. Hopefully, this will allow me to be more unique with my content and the way I organize myself (which is not very effective as of now πŸ˜…).

🎁 Would I do it again? 🎁

Well, if you ask me right now I will probably say no 😬 I’m very tired and I need to rest (although I am considering just doing all of December cause I still need to put up my end of the year posts). But, I will definitely consider it next year. This took a lot of perseverance and determination, and I’m very proud of what I’ve accomplished. Now that I have a some experience, I might be willing to do repeat of it next year.
