Other Recommendations

If You Liked That, Read This | Romance Edition

I love this type of posts, so I wanted to try and do one! I think they’re so clever and the recommendations we get are so spot on. Mind you, I’m not the best at this type of thing, but I don’t think my selection is bad at all. I hope you guys like it and let me know if I should do another one!

If you liked Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey…

You should read 99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne. This author is a genius and this book is incredibly cute. They both share the house flipping element, the ‘childhood friends-to-lovers’ trope, and… The Steamy-ness (if that’s your type of thing, of course).

If you liked Beach Read by Emily Henry…

Please, please, pleaaaaseee read Heart Bones by Colleen Hoover. In all honesty, I am biased. It’s obvious. I don’t shut up about her. But I just think her books are amazing and her writing is beautiful. Both novels have summery vibes and deal with family issues and drama. I would say Heart Bones is probably a little more heavy than Beach Read, but I consider them to be very similar in regards to their vibe.

If you liked Twice in a Blue Moon by Christina Lauren…

You would like Wicked Heart by Leisa Rayven. These books aren’t the most similar novels ever, but I would say they run in the same lane. They both have acting, dealing with misunderstandings from the past and they discuss how much the media actually interferes in the lives of celebrities. Wicked Heart is the third book in a series, but it can be read as a standalone (although I do also recommend the other two novels).

If you liked The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata…

You might really like The Hooker and the Hermit by L.H. Cosway and Penny Reid. This is a horrible title, I’ll give you that. But BELIEVE ME, it’s a great story. The Hooker and the Hermit is definitely more lighthearted and the romance is a bit more fast paced (although anything is considered fast paced when compared to the Wall of Winnipeg). Both books share the sports and athletic element, and a romance between boss and employee!

If you liked Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover…

You will really like The Happy Ever After Playlist by Abby Jimenez.

Music, difficult love, overcoming our pasts… Magic. Both these novels are absolutely amazing. They are both heavy in their own ways and deal with different topics. However, the main elements are very similar. Plus, Maybe Someday has an original album with all of the songs that the characters compose and The Happy Ever After Playlist has a real playlist with specific songs for each chapter!
